Tom Murphy, president and founder of Big Creek, has been involved in the creation and production of events for nearly 20 years.

He helped save the Chicago Christmas Parade by making it a privately funded event for the children of Chicago. He created Chicago's RiverWalk Marketing Association, which brought events, attention and vitality to the vast, beautiful and neglected river running through the heart of the city. He redigned the Residential Sales Council of the National Association of Realtors to make their certification classes and events available to a wider group of agents in every corner of the country.

Big Creek introduced the exploding niche of craft brewed beers to the city with Chicago's Microbrewers Oktoberfest. They recognized the growing adult participation in Halloween with a series of giant parties. BCP took over the grandest ballroom in the city on the grandest night with the New Year's Eve Rock 'N Roll Ball in Navy Pier's Grand Ballroom and then brought it to thousands of viewers at home with a live telecast on ABC-TV.

And literally hundreds of companies, small and large, took advantage of these events to introduce products, build brand loyalty or just entertain clients and employees in a new and exciting way.

Whether creating events to meet client's expectations, finding the synergy between an event and a specific sponsor's goals or simply throwing one heck of a party, Tom has been at the heart of Chicago's event industry for nearly two decades.

Vince Pagone, Director

Vince Pagone brings over 30 years of experience in client services and event production to the table.

Vince was with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts for over 22 years. In his positions as Director of Product Development (created Kona Coffee division, HRC Business Center and Timm's Hill Laeger Beer), Director of Convention and Exhibit Services (handled some of the largest shows and conventions for Hyatt) and Executive Manager, Rooms Division; Vince handled every aspect of the meeting, special event, convention and trade show business for the premier hotel company in the world and its clients.

Today, Vince heads Charles Management Group, an event management company specializing in the services, events and not for profit arenas. His company has worked with Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois, Variety Club of Illinois Children's Charities, and acted as Executive Director of Chicago Gateway Green and Green Tie Ball. In addition, CMG has consulted with Lakeshore Audio and Visual and was instrumental in the planning of the Cook County Fair at the Chicago Motor Speedway.

Vince and his company are an integral part of Big Creek Productions and its ability to deliver for its clients and their events, conventions, trade shows and parties.
